Honda finds a home with Ikea

Honda (UK) has sealed a major corporate deal to replace IKEA UK's entire company car fleet with Civic Hybrids. This follows a commitment made by the home furnishings retailer to reduce its environmental impact and in particular, reduce CO2 emissions.

In total, Honda will supply 50 Civic Hybrids this year, with a further delivery in 2008.

John Kingston, Environment Manager at Honda (UK) said: 鈥淐ivic Hybrid is really taking off in the corporate sector where businesses want to be seen to be green.

鈥淚KEA's commitment to replace its entire fleet with Civic Hybrids is a real-life endorsement of the car and the excellent benefits it offers. In terms of cost, fuel efficiency and low emission driving the Civic Hybrid really stacks up," he added.

The Honda Civic Hybrid has a fuel consumption of 61.4mpg and CO2 emissions of 109g/km.

Honda Previews Misano World Superbike

Long-term championship leader James Toseland (Hannspree Ten Kate Honda CBR1000RR) has another opportunity to extend his championship lead this weekend, as a revamped and reversed Misano circuit welcomes the 2004 champion and his peer group to yet another overheated weekend of top class Superbike action.

Toseland has led the championship in frequently impressive style since round one and even after a mishap in the rain at Silverstone last time out, he recovered well enough to work his way back through almost the entire field to finish eighth. He is now on 237 points, 23 ahead of Noriyuki Haga and 36 ahead of Max Biaggi.

Roberto Rolfo (Hannspree Ten Kate Honda CBR1000RR) has made great advances in set-up and familiarity with his machine at competitive pace recently, and is one of three supported Honda riders in the Superbike class hailing from Italy.

Spied: BMW's upmarket 1-series twins

We've got another three months before BMW finally launches the 1-series coup茅 at the Frankfurt motor show in September. These spy shots are the clearest yet of the two-door notchback, designed to expand the appeal of the 1-series range when it launches in the USA next year.

The disguise around the rear is hiding 3-series coupe-style lights, and under the covers the bootlid is curved, not flat. At the front there are M3-style air intakes in the bumper and heavily flared wheelarches.

What about an M1?

Speculation has been rife that BMW is working on an M-Division version of the 1-series coupe, and Autocar's sources recently confirmed that a proper, M-badged 1-series is in the pipeline for not-long-after the standard car's launch.

The engine it'll run is still unknown.

Fasth holds on to BMW International Open lead

Swedish golfer Niclas Fasth holds a share of the lead at eleven under par with Jose-Filipe Lima going into the final round of the BMW International Open in Munich. The pair hold a two-shot lead over British hope Nick Dougherty, with David Frost and Frenchman Thomas Levet also standing on nine under. The world number 28 was rarely able to scale the heights he achieved in his second round 65, but the Ryder Cup star achieved a birdie at the last hole to card a 73.Fasth had set the pace in the initial stages of his third round, leading by three shots after birdying the opening hole, but four bogeys over the next four holes marred his progress. The 25-year-old rejected notions that his mid-round slump may have been contributed to his exertions in last week's US Open in which he finished a creditable fourth."I might well have felt more energetic if I'd had a week off but I've cut back on practice and made a little bit of a compromise this week and I'm still strong," he said.Lima, who has remained in contention for the title since hitting a 65 in the opening round, which would be his first since victory in the 2004 St Omer Open, said that he had "stuck to the same gameplan all week"."If I missed some shots or putts I tried to forget it and get on with it," he told Reuters.

B leg1 - Dramatic day in Ypres

This series just proves to be absolutely mega exciting. Belgian Pieter Tsjoen in his Fiat Abarth Grande Punto has never led the rally all day, but wins the leg! He is chased by 4 Peugeots, but they also were not the story of the day! For the first 4 stages it was a battle between the IRC championship leader Andrea Navarra in his Abarth Punto and Freddy Loix in the new Volkswagen Polo S2000. Both changed the lead every stage. However the last 2 stages in the dark! were full of twists! This is getting even better than the already hot and unpredictable fight in round2 Turkey!

Stanley Miller II

A: Stanley Miller II - Colin: I am not an HDTV expert, but from what audio-visual professionals have told me, 1080p is "true HDTV" because it's a little bit better than 720p and 1080i . The numbers refer to lines of resolution, and the letters refer to whether the picture is "progressive" or "interlaced." As far as I know, TV stations, cable companies and satellite systems still haven't started showing shows in 1080p yet, but Blu-ray and HD-DVD, which are new types of high-definition DVDs introduced to the market this year, can play recordings in 1080p. So it sounds like you have a TV with plenty of life to it, and you'll be able to enjoy the maximum benefits of HDTV as they become available. Yes, I have played the Burning Crusade extensively now -- two level 70s, one geared mostly in epics.

LOS ANGELES: Video games aren't just for the kids anymore. More than one in three US adults who go online, or 37%, own a video game console and 16% own a portable gaming device, Nielsen//NetRatings said. The majority of those console owners, 71%, are married, and 66% have at least one child in the household. "As game consoles have become increasingly sophisticated, families have incorporated them into their centralised home media centres, which include the television, digital recording device, digital music player and the PC," said Carolyn Creekmore, senior director of media analytics, Nielsen//NetRatings. Microsoft and Sony are positioning their Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles as entertainment hubs for gaming, music and photo viewing amid a fierce battle for dominance in the $30 billion global video- game market.

China changes rules on market bubble fears

Fears of a bubble in its booming domestic stock market has forced the Chinese government to relax investing rules.

The China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) announced late on Friday that it would let Chinese financial institutions invest in overseas equities for the first time.

The news sent Asian stocks listed in Hong Kong, or "H-shares", soaring to record highs today, with analysts predicting further gains to come.

The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index, which tracks the performance of all the Hong Kong listed H-shares of China enterprises, closed at 10,948.72, up 5.36pc.

Meanwhile, the main Hang Seng Index closed at 20,979.24, a rise of 2.5pc.

Dr Frank Gong, head of China research and strategy, and chief economist at JPMorgan, said: "With excess liquidity on such a massive scale, there is the risk of an asset bubble in China arising eventually, if not now.

As mortgage lending tightens, people with weak credit get shut out

With a second child on the way, Chris Shields and his wife, Michelle, wanted to move from their two-bedroom apartment in Southern California to a house with more space.

But because their timing coincided with a shakeout in the mortgage market earlier this year, their credit now isn't good enough to get a loan to purchase the house they wanted with no money down.

Rising interest rates and dropping home prices have squeezed a market that had been propped up by risky loans and easy credit during the housing boom. As mortgage bills came due, foreclosures rose, and the easy credit dried up for families like the Shields.

"Now we're stuck in the apartment," said Shields, 31, a firefighter who lives in Manifee. His wife gave birth to baby Gabriella at the end of March, and they are running out of space without options for a house.

Is insurance bought or sold?

A year ago, 1LifeDirect came to the market offering consumers the opportunity to cut out the broker and buy life cover directly. The industry was sceptical because other attempts at this model, such as Old Mutual's Greenline, had not been a success. The argument was that, because it is a grudge purchase, people do not buy life insurance -- one needs an army of brokers to go out and convince people to take out cover. It would appear that 1LifeDirect has proven this argument wrong. The company uses only above-the-line advertising, so customers themselves have decided that they need life insurance before picking up the phone or going online for a quote. In one year, 1LifeDirect's customers have bought life cover worth R15-billion through the telephone and internet. According to Lenerd Louw, CEO of 1Lifedirect, the business is growing rapidly, selling an average of 3 000 policies per month, or more than R2-billion worth of life cover -- a lot of business that is not going to brokers.

World leaders backing Turkey's EU ambitions

Turkey's prospects as a site for property investment have been bolstered by a show of support for the country's entry into the European Union by a number of world leaders. The country is looking to gain membership of the trading bloc, with accession potentially yielding a major shot in the arm for the country's economy and its property market. With a number of recent EU entrants, including Romania and Bulgaria, benefiting from stronger trade links and an upturn in tourism, many observers believe Turkey could be the next to capitalise on the expansion of the EU.And with Italian president Giorgio Napolitano among those backing the entry, along with German chancellor Angela Merkel, Turkey is hoping it could soon join the EU after concerted efforts to do so.Speaking during Europe Day celebrations Mr Napolitano said the rejection of Turkey as an EU member on geographical or religious ground was wrong.Meanwhile, the German chancellor was similarly positive on the country's future, calling for a stronger union between the continent and Turkey.Earlier this week a spokesperson from the Turkish Industrial Development Banks (TSKB) described how the country's economy had benefited from foreign investment.Entry to the EU could be the catalyst for further gains, making it an attractive location for property speculators.

India's `Madness' Is Worthy of Attention in Asia: William Pesek

May 10 (Bloomberg) -- A quiet revolution is unfolding in India and it could say much about the future of Asia's fast- growing economies.

In New Delhi, Finance Minister Palaniappan Chidambaram is standing by as the rupee rises. It has gained almost 10 percent versus the U.S. dollar over the last 12 months, and 18 percent against the yen. To say that hasn't gone over well with India's business establishment would be a gross understatement.

Take Munish Saigal, director of foreign exchange at Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd., India's largest drugmaker. He says the rupee's advance to a nine-year high against the dollar is ``madness'' and won't last.

``The rupee is massively overvalued and there needs to be some sanity to find out what the appropriate level is,'' Saigal told Bloomberg reporter Sam Nagarajan last month.

It's time to make things happen in capital markets

I can call spirits from the vast deep, said Shakespeare's Owen Glendower. Smart aleck hotspur retorted, "Why, so can I, but will they come when you call for them?" The timeless message was that true clout is an ability to make things happen when needed. I make the case that the regulatory legitimacy of the Foreign Exchange Dealers Association (FEDAI) versus the Fixed Income and Money Market Dealers Association (FIMMDA) may explain the development chasm between wholesale foreign exchange (forex) and fixed income markets. Both institutions are Sec 25 companies, but FEDAI is officially recognised by RBI as a Self-Regulatory Organisation (SRO). FIMMDA has no such official sanction and has not sought it (in fact, it may have shunned it). But it may be time to review the originally sound rationale to model FIMMDA on the UK bond dealers association because of the lack of change and lack of authority to propel change.

For Giuliani, 9/11 Turned To Riches

On Dec. 7, 2001, nearly three months after the terrorist attack that had made him a national hero and a little over three weeks before he would leave office, New York Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani took the first official step toward making himself rich.

The letter he dispatched to the city Conflicts of Interest Board that day asked permission to begin forming a consulting firm with three members of his outgoing administration. The company, said Giuliani, would provide "management consulting service to governments and business" and would seek out partners for a "wide-range of possible business, management and financial services" projects.

Over the next five years, Giuliani Partners earned more than $100 million, according to a knowledgeable source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the firm's financial information is private.

No 鈥楴ational Show Bump鈥?for Cable-Operator Stocks

Cable-operator stocks were down for the most part in the days during The Cable Show '07 in Las Vegas earlier this week, with just two experiencing a rise in their share prices.

Alas, there was no "National Show Bump," or the rise in cable stock prices that frequently happens as operators ride the wave of optimism that usually surrounds the national cable convention. Of the six publicly traded cable operators, only Mediacom Communications and Time Warner showed gains in their stock prices, with Mediacom rising 14 cents per share from May 4-9, the trading period during the show.

Time Warner ended the same period up 41 cents per share, but the rise could have been higher. The stock closed at $21.91 per share May 8 (up 61 cents from May 4), but it fell back to $21.70 May 9 after news of the arrest and subsequent firing of former HBO chairman and CEO Chris Albrecht came out.

Driving expenses up

Even if gasoline prices dropped modestly, motorists still will face higher driving costs this year because of rising insurance, licensing and finance charges, travel organization AAA says in a survey of driving costs published Monday. When all costs are taken into account, including the purchase price of a vehicle, depreciation and routine maintenance, the average cost of driving a car 15,000 miles a year works out to 52.2 cents a mile. It's higher for SUVs and minivans. The good news is that the overall cost is unchanged from last year. .

Lawmakers' plan hikes public school funds

SALEM - The Legislature's budget chiefs put out a $14.9 billion spending blueprint Thursday that calls for more public school spending and less money for colleges and universities than Gov. Ted Kulongoski wants.

The leaders of the Joint Ways & Means Committee, Sen. Kurt Schrader, D-Canby, and Rep. Mary Nolan, D-Portland, presented their spending priorities for 2007-09 to a gathering of lawmakers and others in the House chamber.

Both acknowledged that their spending priorities largely comport with the budget recommendations that fellow Democrat Kulongoski rolled out in December. The two blueprints call for the same level of discretionary spending from the income tax-fed general fund and the lottery. And most of the priorities for education, human services and public safety are similar.

Debunking auto insurance myths

Just as there are many differences between a Toyota and a Lexus, there are many differences between auto insurance policies, although you have to look more closely to spot them. However, choosing a low-cost auto insurance policy may end up costing you thousands of dollars. The familiar pitch, "save hundreds of dollars in 15 minutes," obscures complex coverage issues that may have you paying much more in the end.

Your Liability Exposure

Many auto insurance policies have low liability limits which don't reflect an individual's true worth. In fact, in several states, the recommended limits are as low as $25,000. Because every auto insurance policy is different, it's best to read your policy carefully and make sure you're not part of the up to 50 percent of drivers who are under-insured.

Adidas_1 DLX Runner updated, less fugly

Adidas has decided to expand its line of "smart" shoes with the Adidas_1 DLX Runners. Even though these shiny new versions might look and perform better than the first iteration, they still won't tear us away from our desks -- of course, exercise isn't exactly our bag (unless you count typing as a work out). Regardless of how horrid they appeared, we must admit that the originals performed as advertised, using an embedded microprocessor, motor, and sensor to automatically adjust cushioning to the ideal level by sensing shifts in pace and movement. The new DLX Runners sport a lighter motor mechanism and customize to each individual's needs more effectively by recognizing running style and remembering personal requirements. Most importantly, they actually look like normal shoes and less like miniature spaceships.

Millions in debt is wiped out for Lotus

Malaysian car company Proton last night completed a financial restructuring of Group Lotus, wiping out debts of more than £60m.The move is designed to strengthen the finances of the Norfolk based sports car manufacturer, which has just embarked on a new five year turnaround plan. The plan, which is being overseen by chief executive Mike Kimberley, includes the launch of three new models and an expansion of its engineering division.Earlier this year Group Lotus reported pre-tax losses of £17.7m for the year to the end of March 2006, up from £6.7m in 2005.The losses grew despite the company selling a record number of cars, as the rising dollar squeezed margins on cars exported to the United States.Lotus was left with £18m worth of unsold cars after a slowdown in sales in the US, forcing the company to cut production with the loss of 200 jobs at Hethel. At the same time the company's engineering division saw turnover drop sharply following the loss of a major contract.Proton, which acquired the Norfolk car maker a decade ago, had already provided the company with a £48.8m loan to cover debts run up with external lenders. This loan is now being turned into equity in Group Lotus, effectively writing it off.

A glance in the rear-view mirror

The auto business is constantly replacing perfectly functional cars and trucks with new models that are often only slightly better than those they replaced. I observe this with no cynicism because the public remains intoxicated by that new car smell, and there's normally a lively market for the trade-ins.

A couple of more interesting stories popped up in late 2006 and early this year: Chevrolet replaced the second biggest-selling vehicle in America, the Silverado pickup, and once-timid Toyota unleashed a Tundra pickup with a presence that matches that first "Peterbilt" Dodge Ram in 1994.

Sudan crisis in cartoons

An immigrant from Sudan, the 32-year-old Khalifa spends most nights steering his yellow taxi through the streets of Houston, just trying to get enough fares to pay his bills.

But one recent morning, still tired from an all-night shift, Khalifa chronicled his journey from his native land, to Egypt, and finally to Texas, and his transition from dabbler in watercolours to political cartoonist who depicted the sufferings of the Sudanese.

His artistic awakening forced him to flee his country and today still compels him to document the plight of others driven from their homelands.

Khalifa's cartoons, which he keeps in a dog-eared folder, illustrate the frustrations and heartaches of the refugee process - endless bureaucratic tangles, the sense of being forgotten, the dwindling dream of finding a safe haven.

Tigers labelled head-hunters

MELBOURNE co-captain Cameron Smith last night accused Wests Tigers players of employing illegal tactics to stop star Storm five-eighth Greg Inglis.

Inglis, playing his first premiership game in the No. 6 jersey, was hit high several times in a fiery opening half of the Storm's 18-16 win at Olympic Park.

Asked whether he thought it was a deliberate ploy to put Inglis off his game, Smith said: "Definitely. Greggy, he's a danger to them when he's got the ball, and he's got a new position, so I guess they wanted to test him out a bit, see how he went.

"Every team's going to (test him out). We were trying to get the boys at Benji (Marshall) all night. It's hard. You can't hide the bloke. Every team's going to do it. He just might have to learn to duck."

Smith said the Tigers had targeted Inglis from kick-off.

Allstate must reinstate as many as 4772 policies in the New ...

NEW YORK: Allstate, the second- largest U.S. home and auto insurer, must reinstate as many as 4,772 policies in the New Orleans hurricane area after an investigation by Louisiana's insurance regulator found that some coverage was canceled improperly.

Allstate told Insurance Commissioner Jim Donelon it had dropped the policies because they covered homes found to be abandoned, Donelon said Tuesday at a news conference broadcast on his Web site.

In examining a sampling of addresses, he found that some homes were being repaired instead.

"At best, it was a very ill-conceived and spottily implemented inspection program," Donelon said. "At worst, they wanted off of the coverage."

Allstate said it had inspected each property and given customers a chance to prove they were repairing their homes before dropping the policies.

Mother, son killed when car overturned late Friday

In a page of her Bible, Wilda Watts placed the plans for her funeral. She picked out the songs and she selected her pastors - her nephew and another relative.

This was months ago.

Late Friday, about 100 yards from her home, the car carrying 58-year-old Watts overturned, killing Watts and her 26-year-old son and injuring another.

Wilda Watts and Jonathan Edward Watts, both from Loris, were part of a 24-hour period of multiple crashes in Horry and Georgetown counties on Friday and Saturday. Less than three hours after the crash that killed two members of the Watts family, two best friends died in a three-car crash near Surfside Beach.

And shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday, an 18-month-old died in a four-wheeler accident in rural Georgetown County, Coroner Kenny Johnson said.

Al-Qaida Suspect Says He Beheaded Daniel Pearl

The alleged al-Qaida mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, boasted of being personally responsible for decapitating the US journalist Daniel Pearl five years ago, in a new transcript released by the Pentagon yesterday. The claim comes on top of 30 other al-Qaida operations he said he been involved in.

Mohammed, 42, a Pakistani brought up in Kuwait, claimed he was the shadowy figure shown in a video of the beheading of the Wall Street Journal reporter. "I decapitated with my blessed right hand the head of the American Jew, Daniel Pearl, in the city of Karachi, Pakistan," the transcript quotes him as saying.

A Pentagon spokesman, Bryan Whitman, said the passage was withheld from 26 pages of his "confession" released on Wednesday to allow time to inform Pearl's wife, Mariane.

Women take the wheel in car buying

When Jennifer Schwanberg graduated with a doctorate in clinical psychology last year, she felt a reward was in line.

"I just decided as a graduation present to myself I would get a new car," she said.

She knew what she wanted: safety, high gas mileage, a five-speed transmission and a sunroof. The 54-year-old St. Cloud woman found it last month in a 2007 periwinkle Forester

With increasing numbers of women staying single longer, working outside the home and earning higher wages, more women are taking control of the car-buying experience.

"I see more women involved because there is a lot of independence and shared decision-making with relationships," said Patty Yarbrough, owner of McKay's Family Chrysler Jeep Dodge in St. Cloud. "It's been going on for years."

National statistics now show women buy 50 percent of new cars and 48 percent of used cars.

City plans zoning changes

The city of Casper is heading in a new direction when it comes to expansion and downtown businesses. For nearly a year, city planners have been trying to implement smart growth principles -- what they call common-sense methods for making areas more comfortable and inviting to residents and shoppers alike."It's helpful to get out and see what other cities are doing," said Mayor Kate Sarosy. "It's easy to get insular here. There are a lot of creative solutions to problems that we may not think of that we can adapt."But implementing smart growth ideas can be challenging, especially when current city ordinances prevent some of the strategies, said April Getchius, community development director for the city.

Getchius said the city is considering three zoning changes that could help the city adopt smart growth principles, while also relieving the city staff workload.

Humiliation Played For Laughs In Tawdry `Reno 911!: Miami'

Too-revealing swimsuits on swimsuit-impaired bodies, inept demonstrations of the proctologist's tools-of-the-trade, sexual encounters of the most embarrassing kind: It's an R-rated version of the TV show, as if that's a good thing.

It's not quite all for naught. "Reno" does manage a titter here and a giggle there. But it's a cheap, dumb, obvious movie. How cheap? The big screen never seemed so small.

Thomas Lennon is Lt. Dangle, the aptly named, slightly closeted officer in charge of a team of eight Reno, Nev., sheriff's deputies. He's introduced shorts to his uniform that only a gay Australian football player could love.

"I've got to be able to move like a cheetah!"

His officers include the clueless Cherisa (Mary Birdsong), who pines for him, the in-denial lesbian Trudy (Kerri Kenney-Silver), the drawling rube Travis Junior (played by co-writer/director Robert Ben Garant), the zaftig tart Clementine (Wendi McLendon-Covey), Garcia (Carlos Alazraqui), Jones (Cedric Yarbrough), and the outrageous Raineesha (Niecy Nash), a woman who should never hit the beach in a T-back.

The must-have dress

The strongest colours in this spring fashion palette are strawberry ice, apricot gold, silver, green and blue. "Brilliant blue is likely to gain in popularity as the season progresses," Louis says. Yet various sorbet tones create the tonal soft chalky dimension of many of Spring 2007 seasonal fashion colours, while the coming summer will see us wearing golden apricot, sky blue, opal grey, clear greens and coffee cream.

"All these colours follow through on autumn's most important fashion colours," she adds. Golden liquid sunshine looks and gold lame swinging dresses with disco glamour are the mainstay of futuristic fabrics. These tones make gleaming dresses with a lacquer-like sheen.

Sharp colour combinations have their part in spring 2007, including monochrome black and white prints or the darkest navy blue teamed or trimmed with red.

Polk City Council approves safety measure

New commercial or industrial businesses in Polk City will be required to have key boxes installed on the front of their buildings to allow the fire department faster access in the event of an alarm.

The Polk City Council approved all three required readings of an ordinance Monday requiring a "rapid-entry lock box system" that holds a building key that can be accessed only by the fire department so crews don't have to force their way into a building. Polk City Fire Chief Jason Morse said the system will help reduce damage to property and lessen the danger to firefighters by allowing the department quicker access.

All newly built commercial or industrial buildings with alarm or sprinkler systems and a certificate of occupancy dated on or after July 1 will be required to have key boxes, City Administrator Gary Mahannah said.

GM says comeback is rolling

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- General Motors, written off for nearly dead in 2005, says it is firmly on the comeback road thanks to the successful launch of new products and a painful reorganization program.

"At the end of the day, we will have the biggest turnaround in American corporate history," Mike Jackson, GM vice president for vehicle marketing and advertising, said yesterday at a media roundtable.

Earlier this month, GM posted a $950 million fourth-quarter profit, its second quarterly profit in two years. The company had a loss of $10.4 billion in 2005 and a $2 billion net loss overall in 2006.

GM, which sold about 9.09 million cars and trucks worldwide last year, has had to take some tough steps toward recovery. In 2005, the company announced it would eliminate 30,000 jobs at 12 facilities across the country by next year.

Man ShoeThe apparent confessions of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed to planning the September 11 attacks were today met with shock and scepticism in almost equal measure.

The alleged No 3 in al-Qaida has long been suspected of being the mastermind behind the 2001 attacks in America but, if true, Mr Mohammed's most recent admissions would confirm his as a man the US has described as "one of history's most infamous terrorists".

Mr Mohammed was arrested in Pakistan in 2003 and spent time in secret CIA prisons before being moved with 13 others to a maximum security compound at Guantnamo Bay last year.

His list of confessions, in which he places himself at the centre of al-Qaida plots spanning a decade, are contained in the transcript of a tribunal held behind closed doors at the Cuban camp.gilbert arena basketball shoes

Cashback is a sweet, melancholy comedy for rueful romantics that should have landed here to honour St. Valentine. But we'll happily take it in the name of St. Patrick.

This expanded feature-length version of the 2006 Oscar-nominated short film by hugely talented young British writer-director Sean Ellis deals with the unhappy consequences of being dumped by a girlfriend.

The question asked is, What is love, anyway? And while we're at it, What is beauty? As formulated by shoe-gazing art student Ben Willis (appealing Sean Biggerstaff, the Quidditch captain in the first two Harry Potter films), there is no easy answer.

Ben is in pain. One day he's thick as thieves with Suzy (Michelle Ryan). The next, she's ditched him for a bigger man on campus. Because he's a sensitive artist, he takes the news like a shaft to the heart. Buy-in-Home.
