HOUSTON, March 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Moore Unique Skin Care (MUSK), LLC, today announced the launch of the Moore Unique Pseudofolliculitis Barbae (PFB) Educational Awareness Initiative, a national effort to raise awareness of the long-term effects and risks associated with PFB, commonly known as 'razor bumps' and a common condition occurring in over 10.8 million men, but significantly impacting an estimated 60% of African American men & 15% of Caucasian men. If not treated professionally, PFB can cause keloidal scarring which has become an important issue in men's personal grooming.
The initiative is led by noted Houston dermatologist Dr. Milton D. Moore, CEO of Moore Unique Skin Care, LLC and will feature "expert grooming and skin care advice" to national media, participation in community events, and product sampling.
