LETTER: Randy Corbin endorsed for Freeport council
I have known Randy Corbin for many years through our membership in the Freeport Lincoln-Douglas Kiwanis Club, and I encourage all concerned Freeporters to vote for Randy for alderman-at-large.During his year as president of our Kiwanis Club he emphasized membership growth and encouraged each member to sponsor a new member - then showed true leadership skills when he lead by example and personally sponsored a number of new members himself. A few years later he was elected our district's lieutenant governor. Again he was a true leader, visiting all the district clubs multiple times, supporting club presidents and listening to the concerns of all members.In addition to his high-profile Kiwanis leadership positions, Randy Corbin also has served in a number of less visible, unglamorous positions.
