Regents to vote on incentives for Crow totaling $150,000
The Arizona Board of Regents today will consider giving Arizona State University President Michael Crow an extra $150,000.
The board will vote on an amendment to Crow's employment contract that would give Crow $10,000 for every one of 10 performance goals he meets. And if all 10 are met, Crow could receive an additional $50,000. The payments would be made when his current contract expires June 30, 2008.
The goals include: increase the diversity of Arizona resident freshmen, improve freshman retention, increase research expenditures, improve six-year graduation rates, improve community college transfer students' graduation rates, and improve ASU's U.S. News & World Report ranking. .
